It's great that you've found your way on to our fundraising page - probably one of the most important on this site. So, on this page we'd like to show you different ways in which you as a parent can help the school - it could be from something as simple as helping out on a stall at the Christmas Fayre to remembering to click on a website link before doing your online shop - you can help make a difference.
Most of the well-known online retailers such Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, the Book people are part of this fundraising initiative. For each item ordered going through the easy fundraising website, money will automatically be raised for COSA, donated by the retailer, at absolutely no extra cost to you! To use easyfundraising the first time, click on Support a Good Cause in the top menu bar, enter COSA in the search box 'Cause Name', and then Support this Cause. After that you will be asked to create an account, and then start shopping – as easy as that! Click here for more information.
Applying for grant funding can be a great way for COSA to raise funds for specific causes. At the moment we are focusing on seeking funding for the new school library. Current applications we are working on, or recently submitted are: • Application to Persimmon Homes for £1,000 • Application to the Foyle Foundation for money towards the cost of books for the new library If you see a possible source of grant funding for COSA, please let us know via the contact page.
There are many events organised by COSA and we always need volunteers to help! Keep an eye on the website events page, the newsletter, Facebook and Twitter pages to find out what is happening and drop us a line if you would like to help. We are likely to snap your hand off for the help!
Events such as the Christmas and summer Fayres are our main source of income, so one of the best (and most fun) ways of supporting COSA is to come along with your family to our events, and enjoy what our stalls have to offer. At the last summer Fayre we raised a record breaking £3351.
You do not have to be involved in COSA already to come to a meeting or coffee morning, we really do want to see more of you coming along and offering any support you can to help with the fundraising efforts. We promise we do not bite and they are not stuffy affairs so please don’t be shy!
Thank you for all you do already, so please keep giving the way you do as it really isn’t possible without your help.
